Bogdan Kostrzewski

(born August 2, 1915 in Poznan, died. April 12, 1971 in Poznań) - Associate Professor, Ph.D., Polish archaeologist, muzeolog, longtime director of the Archaeological Museum in Poznan, conducted excavations at Giecz. Privately, he w as the son of Professor drJózefa Kostrzewski. In 1935 he enrolled at the Faculty of Law at the University of Poznan, but the academic year 1936/1937 he studied at the Faculty of Humanities of prehistory as the main subject. During his studies, was the practice of excavation of the famous settlement with the Lusatian culture in Biskupin and has participated in the capital city of Gniezno.
